Mike started playing the accordion at just six years old after being inspired by America’s Polka King, and he grew up to lead the Mike Schneider Polka Band, a high-energy Slovenian-style polka group that’s been entertaining audiences throughout the Midwest and across the United States since 1996. His music blends joyous rhythms, authentic folk tradition, and engaging showmanship that appeals to both longtime polka fans and newcomers alike
